Shaikha Al Mazrou's Interview with The Times 'Art as a Balancing Act' is featured in The Times Sharjah Report. The artist speaks to Parminder Bahra about her sculpture 'Red Stack' (2022), the largest work by the artist to-date which was exhibited at Frieze Sculpture 2022.
This 24-page piece ‘A Cultural Capital: How Sharjah is rooting progress in tradition and heritage’ sets out an ambitious roadmap. It is anchored by interviews with HH Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, HE Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, and HE Sheikha Hoor bint Sultan Al Qasimi. In all, more than 30 interviews were conducted for the piece.
