Yazan Khalili received a grant from the Young Arab Theatre Fund for his project Preventive Conservation, a new commission for the 5th Riwaq Biennial in Ramallah, Palestine which runs until 1 June 2016.
The Riwaq Biennial spans two years and aims to promote and complexify it’s agenda, tracing regional genealogies of cultural production, and structuring RB5 around existing public events in Ramallah and beyond—as well as developing an educational program and catering to the needs of emergent practitioners in collaboration with local and international art institutions.
