Mona Saudi's artwork in group exhibition for Palestine at the Sharjah Art Foundation

'In the eyes of our present, we hear Palestine' foregrounds the unyielding creativity of artists who have dedicated their practice to informing, advocating and educating about the history of the occupation, the current political situation and issues of human rights in Palestine.

 

Mona Saudi's artwork Mother and Child, 1981, is a marble sculpture, in which smooth shapes wrap around each other, embodying the theme of Mother Nature and life, which have been crucial throughout Saudi’s five decade career. This work is part of the group exhibition on view until 14 April 2024 in the Old Al Dhaid Clinic, Al Dhaid, Sharjah.⁠
