Wafaa Bilal. Dark Palace, The Ashes Series. 2003-13
Wafaa Bilal will participate in a solo exhibition at the Art Gallery of Windsor in Canada, where he will premiere a new project titled 168:01 alongside his 2003-13 photographic works The Ashes Series. The exhibition will open on 30 January and will run until the 10th of April 2016.
In Wafaa Bilal: 168:01, Bilal addresses the cyclical history of violence against cultural institutions, and libraries in particular, during times of war and conflict.
