Larissa Sansour at KINGS Artist-Run, Melbourne

Larissa Sansour will be participating in a group show at The Phase Space at KINGS Artist-Run in Melbourne, Australia, opening on 30 October and running until 21 November 2015. In Phase Space, the artists, CUSS Group, Firas Shehadeh , Gerald Machona, Joe Hamilton and Larissa Sansour  examine the tensions and possibilities of urban space through virtual and filmic representations.

 

This exhibition proceeds by examining how images structure an understanding of lived reality, specifically urban realities, while also positing alternative experiences, rather than simply reflecting the status quo. Read more.
